Marcus Haislip added to the Milwaukee lead after a layup with 4:34 remaining in the first
half pushed the advantage to 35-25. Detroit (2-2) scrapped its way back into the contest,
cutting the deficit to four points on several occasions. However, a pair of free throws
by Lamont Barnes capped off a 6-0 run with just over a minute remaining, pushing Milwaukee's
lead back to 10, 44-34. Ford, the eighth overall pick in this past NBA Draft, led all
